Careers with The Inn at Dromoland

 The Inn at Dromoland are currently seeking to fill the following positions:

 

Demi Chef de Partie

Ideal candidates in conjunction with senior chefs will be responsible for: - 

-Smooth running of assigned section in the kitchen.
-To prepare and produce food to a high standard.
-Ensuring food safety practices are adhered to at all times.
-Opening and closing procedures of the section.
-Assisting in other sections of the Kitchen when required.

Candidates need to meet the following criteria: -

-Have 3rd level qualification, along with basic food hygiene certification
-Have previous kitchen experience, preferably at 3 star level or similar standard.
-Have a level of high service standards and ability to work under pressure.
-Must be focused on standards with excellent attention to detail. 
-Have good communications skills.

 

Commis Chef

Ideal candidates in conjunction with senior chefs will be responsible for: -

-Food preparation in assigned section of the Kitchen.
-Maintaining a high level of personal and operative hygiene.
-Adhering to Food Hygiene and HACCP systems already in place.
-Opening and closing procedures of the section.
-Assisting in other sections of the Kitchen when required.

Candidates need to meet the following criteria: -

-Have 3rd level qualification, along with basic food hygiene certification.
-Have previous kitchen experience, preferably at 3 star level or similar standard.
-Have a level of high service standards.
-Must be focused on standards with excellent attention to detail. 
-Have the ability to work under pressure.
-Have good communications skills.

 

Full training is provided for all positions, however, working as part of a team, he/she will be guided by the senior personnel. Working schedule is from Monday – Sunday along with a variety of shifts available, however, due to nature of our business, flexibility is required.
